At Optima Natura, we are aware of the responsibility of every company, including ours, as well as that of every person, for the condition of the environment. We are aware of the need to build and support awareness of sustainable development among our company’s employees as well as among our suppliers.
Since the beginning of the Optima Natura company, Nature, which we have in our name, has been very close to us. We know how the state of Nature affects our well-being every day and we want to take care of it by offering our customers the highest quality and safety of our products, and sustainable development is one of our priorities.
Commit for Our Planet is a great project that not only motivates us to make an effort but also provides tools that help us better understand where and in what area we can make changes in our activities. We are convinced that Commit for Our Planet is a “must have” for our business, if we want to look to the future.

Commitment: Promote packaging recycling

We will communicate on how to recycle our product packaging in line with local recycling schemes by means of:

  • extending the information on product’s labelling/packaging and digitally for all products
  • developing information campaigns to end-consumers on social media (Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn) to increase the understanding of the new labelling and way of sorting of products’ packaging and to raise awareness on the importance of recycling by end of 2025.

Commitment: Increase recycled content

We will identify the ratio of recycled vs not recycled content in wood-based, glass, and metal packaging and prioritize where to increase the recycled content by end of 2025.

We will increase the recycled content share of wood-based, glass, and metal packaging by 2030.

Commitment: Sustainably source wood-based packaging

We will reduce the use of non-certified, virgin, wood-based primary and secondary packaging by end of 2025.

Nature

Commitment: Act for nature within operations

We will identify where to prioritize efforts – i.e.:

  • We will systematically measure and record the amount of water consumed and the quantity and kind of waste produced by our organization over a month and a year.
  • We will analyze the data to identify trends, peaks, and identify areas of improvement by end of 2025.
